In 2010 I happily married my soul mate and now divide my time between beautiful Jeffersonville, Vermont, and Los Angeles, CA. Originally from Redondo Beach, CA, my studies focused on art and interior design. After school, I was with a major animation studio as an artist and painter. Eventually, I went on to work in residential, commercial and television studio interior design and project management.
An opportunity to attend a good old-fashioned "finishing and modeling school", was where I gained an even more thorough understanding of how the human body is translated by the camera lens. This includes poses, angles, and lighting that can make all the difference to the impact of your images. Part of that curriculum included cosmetic shading and contouring with a strong focus on monochrome for still and film photography.
I believe that there is no such thing as too short, too tall, too young, or too old; it's about telling your story and seeing yourself in a way you've perhaps never seen yourself before.
I believe that in capturing your wedding; it is your day, your passion, and your love that is being captured.
I believe that in capturing your traditions, that family history be honored, and that your images are timeless, keeping generations connected for years to come.
Throughout my professional life, in all I've done as an photographer, artist and designer, it's been with the awareness of composition, lighting, balance, and beauty; framing everything within the camera frame in order to capture your story artistically, beautifully, and poignantly.
Since 2008, I've focused solely on professionally developing my love of natural photojournalism and as well as a more cinematic, painterly style of composition and fine-art editing.
As a well-seasoned destination photographer, my scheduling is flexible with strong familiarity and resources both throughout Vermont and New England, as well as throughout Southern California.
My experience has been varied with folks from all walks and traditions of life; and I wouldn't have it any other way. I look forward to our collaboration and am honored and privileged in being a part of capturing your journey.
